Overview

Hero Frequencies Manager is designed with privacy as a core principle. This site operates on your local network and does not transmit your data to any external server, cloud service, or third party. All processing occurs locally between your browser and the server running on your network.

Data Collection

This site collects only the minimum information necessary to function:

• Session cookie — A temporary identifier (mintsid) stored in your browser to associate your requests with your session. This cookie contains no personal information and is used solely for session management.
• Uploaded files — When you upload a file (such as a BFB_Frequencies.csv for biofeedback analysis), the data is held temporarily in server memory for the duration of your session. It is not written to permanent storage unless you explicitly save a briefcase.
• Analysis results — Frequency analysis results and recommendations generated during a biofeedback session exist only in memory and are discarded when the session ends.

Data Retention

All session data is temporary by design:

• Session data is stored in the server's memory only and is automatically removed when you end your session.
• If the server is restarted, all in-memory session data is lost.
• No user data is written to a database, log file, or any form of persistent storage on the server.
• There are no user accounts, login credentials, or user profiles stored on this system.

Digital Briefcase

The Biofeedback Helper provides a "briefcase" feature that allows you to download your analysis session as a zip file. This file is saved locally on your computer at a location you choose. The server does not retain a copy of the briefcase after the download completes. You may restore a briefcase in a future session by uploading it back to the site, at which point the same temporary data handling rules apply.

No External Communication

This site does not:

• Send data to any external server, API, or cloud service
• Use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services
• Load any assets from external CDNs — all scripts, fonts, and stylesheets are served locally from this server
• Collect or transmit your IP address, browser fingerprint, or device information beyond your local network

Cookies

This site uses a single cookie:

• mintsid — A session identifier. It is a randomly generated string with no personal data. It is not shared with any third party and expires when you close your browser or when the server is restarted.

Server Statistics

The server maintains basic aggregate statistics (total requests, connection counts, error counts) for administrative monitoring purposes. These statistics are anonymous, contain no personally identifiable information, and are held in memory only — they are reset each time the server restarts.

Children's Privacy

This site does not knowingly collect any information from children. No personal information is collected from any user regardless of age.

Security

Because this site operates on your local network, data transmitted between your browser and the server stays within your network. For deployments accessible beyond the local network, it is recommended that you use a reverse proxy with TLS (HTTPS) to encrypt traffic in transit.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page. Since no personal data is collected, changes are expected to be minimal.
